Worms

So close, and yet so far away.

She tried to call for her, but a tight squeeze from the beast, and her only salvation was out of reach.

*Who is this .... Hello? Hello...*

*He.. argh* The coils had reached her neck, cutting her breath. She struggled in vain while the monster was slowly dragging is delicious prey into his lair. These worms like to take their time, and do not bother to kill the prey, it eats it alive.

The radio was just a meter away, and yet all she could do now is look at it while she is dragged to her cruel fate.
